What a scam.....

DH told me he received a call from Chase, letting him know that his debit and credit card had been locked and to call them right away....you had to punch in some number, ect, ect.

The scam? We don't have Chase. Of course he didn't do it.

Makes me wonder how many people actually do fall for these types of scams....my guess? Actually more than one would think.

Sad

    Ugh! I had an email from our bank about fraud. Since I wasn't sure what it was about, I checked our bank account online first. There was also a fraud notice there. We called the number listed on our account and sure enough attempted fraud and a hold on our account. All taken care of.

    I think it is important to call ONLY the number listed on your card if you ever get any inkling of fraud on an account you have.

    Thanks for the 'heads up' on a likely scam. Having given up our land phone several years ago, we don't miss all those marketing and survey calls that are so annoying. I wonder if the computer hacks are smarter or the business community is not keeping up with technology
