Spendy Costco trip

We hit Costco today....we usually end up going there about every 6 weeks. They had a lot of good coupons (for once) so we took this opportunity to stock up on a few things....DH was paid on Friday and it was a full check with a few overtime hours. We will probably see the reduction on his next check from the time he had to take off at Christmas.

We used this opportunity to stock up on mainly cleaning supplies. I don't think I will have to buy these items for at least 3 months...hopefully more.

Sometimes you have to spend to save.

    In my experience I think buying in bulks is the best way to go, save in the long run.

    Only if you really know your prices. I've found that many items at Costco really weren't much of a bargain and in fact were pretty close to the same as what i'd get at a regular supermarket. Not saying everything was priced that way, but you reall can't assume that everything is a deal. price books help if you keep them current, but a lot of work.
